Stornoway Sweater features stripes and texture with an oversized fit giving a pleasurable knitting experience and a modern look. Pair your sweater with jeans for a relaxed, stylish, and cosy look.
First the back is knitted back and forth with increases to shape the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up to form each shoulder whilst shaping the neck. The front is joined and knitted back and forth; once complete, the front and back are joined, and stitches cast-on for the underarms. The body is then knit in the round. Sleeves stitches are picked up around the armhole opening and worked in the round with decreases. Finally, stitches are picked up and knitted in rib along the neck edge. All ribbing is bound off using the Italian bind-off technique.
